Update!!

So even though we've finished our film, the hard work is not over OOHHH NO MORE WORK!!
Now we're creating our evaluation in the form of an awesome video!!!

We've come up with ideas for every single question, and I decided to script each one to make it easier when it came to filming; we did try to film question 1 last week, but I just re-watched it and the continuity and script itself (we improvised) weren't up to the standard that we would want from our evaluation - so due to this I have just made cue cards, and also think we should create a backdrop and plan the camera work more.

In my free period and after school today I went round and filmed everything for the 2nd question - for this question we decided to have a student hold up a card with the main point of what we are saying, and then we will do things for each paragraph which we can then fast forward! for example, this morning I asked a few friends to run in circles round some trees on our field - with one of the girls holding a sign saying 'males' and then when it's fast forwarded we will record ourselves answering the question!!

We are staying after school Thursday to (HOPEFULLY) get loads of the evaluation done, the thing is Ruby, Kath and I have NO frees together whatsoever and as we have no class time left we have to either do it in our frees or after school, I have been working in my frees on the evaluation and I know Ruby plans to do this as well, we are trying to fit media in as much as possible so hopefully the evaluation will be up sooooon!!!!!!!

Audience feedback via facebook

I decided to post our thriller opening onto facebook, therefore enabling a huge range of social groups to watch it and give their own opinions - I'm really happy with the feedback we got;

Male, 46: Wow ... brilliant! .... what happened to the kids????

Female, 35: loving the clock counting down, good choice of music....gets the tension going, and along with the title at the end.....wants me to watch more!

Male, 18: I like it :) well done! Good variety of shots!

Male, 16: WHAT HAPPENS NEXT!?

Female, 16: It looks really good! I like the use of the clock... good tension... welldone :)

These are just a few of the comments we recieved, they are all really positive and they show that a range of ages from teens upwards would enjoy our thriller, and also we are able to see from these comments that our opening creates tension and suspense, and also hooks the audience so that they would want to watch more of the film!!
